Profile of Staff
|
Grace Webster qualified from Glasgow in 1987.
In July 1987, Grace joined the practice following which she became a partner in 1996. Grace has a particular interest in Pig Production and small animals (pets). |
Randal Mathers graduated as a vet in June 1999 from University College Dublin.
Originally from Northern Ireland he moved to Scotland just after graduation and took his first job at the Meadows.
After working as an assistant for 5 years he became a partner in 2004.
He enjoys mixed veterinary practice but has a particular interest in farm animals.
Other interests include hillwalking, cycling, ski-ing, and working on the family farm. |
Graeme Fowlie graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2001.
Graeme returned to the North-East in 2005 after working in Ross-shire, Dumfries-shire and County Durham.
Graeme gained his General Practitioners certificate in Equine Practice in 2008 and along with horses has a strong interest in cattle work (which no doubt stems from his agricultural up-bringing on the family farm!)
The badly behaved black labrador, occassionally found careering around the surgery is probably his; he's called Ralph. |
Rebecca Mowat graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2005.
Rebecca stared working in mixed practice in Norfolk, England where she worked for three and a half years before leaving to go travelling around the world.
After visiting Sri Lanka, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and North America, Rebecca found her way up to Aberdeenshire where she recently joined the Meadows team.
Rebecca enjoys all aspects of veterinary work and is looking forward to meeting everyone for a fly cup and a fine piece or two! |
Jan Eigil Strandskog graduated from Edinburgh's Royal (Dick) Veterinary College in 2003.
Jan moved from Sandnes (on the west coast of Norway) to Edinburgh in 1998 and after graduating, started his first job in mixed practice in a small market town called Newcastle Emlyn, in West Wales. After seeing practice all around Scotland as a student, he joined the Meadows in 2006.
In his spare time you can find Jan on top of Bennachie, Ben Rinnes, Clachnaben, or any other hill with a fine view! |
